东西方音乐在同一灵感下的碰撞

　　动人旋律里流淌着的丰富想象 慰藉灵魂

　　有一位BBC的特约撰稿人何越曾评价道：旅英青年钢琴家肖荻的演奏里有着感人至深的特殊魅力，总能在听众之间找到心灵的交流和共鸣。她外形小巧娟秀，可是目标远大，内心坚如盘石，能量巨大如火山。从莫扎特、贝多芬到拉威尔、梅西安，她的曲目量也体现出其广博的音乐趣味，她关注传统中国传统音乐以及当代中国音乐创作并在她的音乐会中向西方介绍中国曲目。作为传播文化和艺术的使者，她始终致力于通过音乐达成中西文化的融合和交流。

　　肖荻曾在年仅17岁时赴马来西亚为皇室演奏黄河协奏曲，至今，已在全球20多个国家演奏。2007年正式在英国伯明翰音乐学院钢琴系执教。后作为英国唯一的提名人，成功入选08/09年度的ECHO Rising Star （燃起之星），在十数所世界著名的音乐厅举办独奏音乐会，其中包括维也纳金色大厅，阿姆斯特丹音乐厅，德国科隆音乐厅，雅典音乐厅等等。2014年，她被任命为BIPA国际钢琴学会的音乐总监；全球杰出华人女性MULAN AWARDS (木兰奖) 在伦敦授予肖荻‘文化艺术杰出贡献奖’，同年，山西大学将肖荻特聘为客座教授；2015年，广州星海音乐学院将其特聘为客座教授。2017年，俄国著名指挥捷杰耶夫在听到肖荻的演奏后给予高度评价并邀请她在下个音乐季与马林斯基乐团合作。

　　Described as “a pianist of awesome gifts” by the Birmingham Post， Chinese pianist Di Xiao has built a reputation as a musician and international ambassador for the piano. Di performs a programme that brings together both East and West， juxtaposing the music of European masters with works by their Chinese counterparts， all inspired by similar stimuli.

　　Di’s international career started at 17 when she played Chengzong Yin’s Yellow River Piano Concerto in Kuala Lumpur for the Malaysian Royal Family. Subsequently Di has been invited to perform as a soloist in many countries. Di has performed in some of the World’s leading venues， including The Concertgebouw Amsterdam， Luxembourg Philharmonie， Hamburg Laeiszhalle， Barcelona L'Auditori， Vienna Konzerthaus Wigmore Hall (London).

　　An international perspective and a wealth of experience mean that Xiao has become a respected thinker on musical issues and she has published a number of articles in the Chinese Financial Times， Piano Art Magazine and UK Chinese Times. Her 2014 article “the Chinese piano‘Great Leap’.” provoked much debate and has been republished many times. Xiao recognises that her unique profile forms a bridge between two cultures and makes her an international ambassador for the piano， a role which she takes very seriously. She travels extensively to share her knowledge and experience.
